I’ve owned this product for just under a year. The beard trimmer function works fine. However the hair clippers, after a few uses, turn quite vicious and rather than cutting through hair, seem to pull it out. The end result is fine, but a good set of hair clippers should not be so painful to use. (Also, the clipper was fully charged, my hair wasn’t thick, it wasnt wet etc. There is no reason why the clippers should cut in the way they do!)
If you require a good set of hair clippers, buy some which ONLY cut hair and do not have all these fancy attachments. They simply aren’t up to scratch (although they do scratch my neck…).

the clips are made of cheap plastic and eventually they break! battery lasts 30min which is good but the downside is that it cannot be used when connected to the power!
i bought a babyliss i-trim and it works much better than this philips. though check for the newer version of the i-trim since the 7854 or the 7855 is much better

I wanted a simple trimmer with a good price-quality relationship. This grooming kit fulfils my expectations with the bonus of a very useful nose trimmer. I think this is ideal for those who wear a beard now but might shave it in the future and don’t want to spend a lot of money in this sort of thing.
